Spring Break 2023: Omaha, Nebraska March 12-18, 2023
This year we will travel to Omaha, Nebraska for Alternative Spring Break (ASB). We will be working with Scatter Joy Acres, Heartland Hope 任务, 完全的孩子, and Habitat for Humanity. Work we will be doing includes food packaging, 栖息地的构建, and volunteering at a therapeutic animal organization. What we Did for ASB 2022
Last year we went to Lafayette, Louisiana and worked alongside Rebuilding Together Acadiana. Throughout the week our group of 20 students built an 80ft wheel-chair accessible ramp and renovated a damaged house. We tasted local cuisine and visited the only Bordens ice-cream parlor in the United States.
